1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ATS Check ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ATS Check provides CV analysis and ATS compatibility scoring. We analyse your CV against job postings to identify keyword matches, gaps, and provide improvement suggestions. Our scores are estimates based on common ATS parsing patterns and should be used as guidance only.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service
One person may not maintain multiple free accounts

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload malicious files or content
Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy our analysis algorithms
Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your CV and personal data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing our analysis service. The ATS Check service, including our analysis methodology and user interface, is our intellectual property.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

That our ATS scores will match any specific ATS system
That following our recommendations will result in job interviews
Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service

Our analysis is based on common ATS patterns and should be used as one input in your job search strategy, not as a guarantee of success.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ATS Check shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
